Everyone Who Believes

Dear Redeeming Grace,

Last week we saw how the gospel goes further out and further in. It goes further out as more and more people hear the transforming message of salvation, through faith in Christ alone. And it goes further in as our hearts are shaped to love like God, desiring that all would come to repentance and faith.

We say it often at Redeeming Grace; we exist to exalt, enjoy and extend the grace of God in Christ. The more we meditate on God's grace to us through exalting and enjoying the riches of Christ, the more I believe we'll want to extend it to anyone and everyone we can.

Peter is a wonderful example of this to us in the message he gives to those gathered at Cornelius's house. We'll get to see this in more depth on Sunday, but let these closing words about Jesus, from Peter, ring in our hearts and draw us to deeper love for Christ and others.

"To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." (Acts 10:43 ESV)
