Our Better Future
Dear Redeeming Grace,
Over the last few months we've looked at the books of Ezra and Nehemiah in our series "Building Toward a Better Future". We've highlighted many aspects of pressing into the Lord as we seek to build our own lives into Jesus. And we've considered what that means for us as a church as well.
Along the way we've reflected on God's faithfulness to us and thought about the countless ways he's shown us his grace. It has been God's hand that has gathered together a body of believers called Redeeming Grace to be a lamp shining the light of the good news in this city and beyond. What God has begun, he continues to build and strengthen, through you.
When Jason preached last week on the longing we all have for final restoration, it reminded me that one day Jesus will return for his bride and we will experience that wholeness we all desire. But until that day, we continually press on to love, know and follow the Lord while also loving our neighbor and making disciples. By God's grace we'll continue to build towards our better future by doing just that together.
